In order to support the general aim of achieving the best use of informatics resources through interdisciplinary collaboration, a mailing list has been set up for the Informatics Collaborative Research Network (CRN). This network currently has an academically diverse membership of around 120 persons. For any mailing list queries and/or requests which are not answered by this page, please contact owner-informatics-crn@bham.ac.uk.

Policies

The policies for the mailing list are as follows:

Membership is moderated to avoid spammers.

Only registered members of the list may post, but posting itself is not moderated.

Attachments can be sent to the Informatics CRN mailing list and are stored in the archive via a link at the end of relevant posted message. However, please avoid sending very large attachments to the site.

How to subscribe/unsubscribe

To join the Informatics CRN mailing list send an email to majordomo@bham.ac.uk containing the line:

subscribe informatics-crn A.N.Other@bham.ac.uk

The email address is optional. If it is omitted, then the sender of the email will be added to the list. Since subscription requests are moderated, it may take a day or so for the subscription to be confirmed.

To leave the Informatics CRN mailing list send an email to majordomo@bham.ac.uk containing the line:

unsubscribe informatics-crn A.N.Other@bham.ac.uk

Again, the email address is optional. If an address is given and the source of the email does not match it, then the unsubscribe request will be forwarded to the moderator. Otherwise, the effect will be immediate and you should receive an acknowledgement email.
